Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir. Bashir Baba was a one-time leader of militant group Hizbul Mujahideen but has now given up the gun. His son Basharat has grown up under the shadow of a silent war, but found in football his passion and fuel. Marcos, a FIFA-accredited Brazilian football coach, has started a football academy in Srinagar and an exchange programme to Brazil for his most talented players, amongst them Basharat. To play football in the land of legendary Pele is the greatest of his dreams. Unfortunately, Basharat is denied a passport by the Government of India. His crime? That he was born the son of a militant.
